Anyone enjoys the anime Death note? It is my favorite anime of all times. The character Kira or light Yagami fascinates me. L tends to do the same, however. Who do you find is your favorite character?

Are you team Light or Team L?

I recently watched this one after hearing about it. I really loved the overall premmace, and the other-worldly aspect was quite interesting. It also created some good philosophical questions. Unfortunately Lite ended up turning into a megalomaniacal tyrant. It started off well, but I felt it went to a grand scale too quickly. That said, the play between Lite and El - the first one anyway - made from some nice dramatic moments. Don't get me started on Lite's "girlfriendish compatriot though. I love anime, but there are so many shows where anime girls just bug me. She is definetly one of them.

I love death note. but it turns sour after L died. methinks they try hard to make the series longer. it should have end after his death...

OH completely agree with you rusty. I did not like what happened after L died in the slightest. I would pick near if I must choose one, however, the rest after L died it was certainly nerve grading. I agree it should have ended there and Ryuk should have killed light at that point.

Remy, I quite agree, that it became too grandiose. Death note became somewhat pointless when light was attempting to be dictator of morality and pseudo l. Personally, the judggling act was amusing at first, however, rapidly became tiresome and pointless.

Ah, yes, misa became quite annoying rather quickly. I did not like her much.

I absolutely was fascinated by LIght against l. That was a great aspect of the anime, and by far my favorite part.

"L do you know Gods of death Love apples"

Love it!

I definitely enjoyed the thought provoking philosophical questions as well.
